Description
Cosmelan 2 is the specialised “in home” depigmentation treatment of the Cosmelan line.
How to use
- Apply the cream on the area that needs treatment (avoid the eye contour).
- Apply three times per day in the 1st month. If you notice an exaggerated reaction, start to apply only two times per day. If you still observe an exaggerated response of the skin, start to apply only one time per day.
- In the 2nd and 3rd month of treatment, apply twice a day (in the morning and in the evening).
- After 3 months of treatment, starting in the 4th month apply once a day (preferably in the evening) for a period of 3-9 months, depending on the obtained results.
It is recommended that each application is made with about 0.5 g of cream. A larger amount of the cream may be more difficult to absorb through the skin. Applying a thicker layer of the product can result in damages to the skin such as extreme dryness, peeling skin etc.
For best results in reducing hyperpigmentation, we recommend the in salon Cosmelan treatment to prepare the skin for a deeper depigmentation.
During the treatment, it is essential to use efficient and constant sun protection every day. We recommend Mesoestic Mesoprotech Light Water Antiaging Veil SPF50+.
Lack of sun protection reduces the effectiveness of the treatment.
Please note that with an intensive treatment, a peeling effect and some redness are to be expected and will normalise within about 2 weeks.
Change in colour of this cream does not affect its effectiveness, as it contains botanical extracts that have different colours depending on the batch.
